My name's Challon. For most of my adult life I was running enterprise Linux infrastructure by day and playing acoustic guitar 5 nights a week at the same time. Not before, not after — simultaneously. Covers done my own way, packed rooms, good money. Beast mode was just the default setting.
25 years in IT. I've kept 911 systems running at 99.95% uptime, administered 3,000+ servers across 30 data centers, managed IT operations for chemical plants across 5 states, and led the Linux automation program at one of Kentucky's largest healthcare networks. The kind of work where things going wrong isn't an option.
The 2026 job market dried up fast. I wasn't going to wait it out. I already had SLA Ops, LLC — my own engineering practice. So I put everything I know to work closer to home. Lawn care, handyman, carpentry, pressure washing, low voltage and tech installs. Same standard. Different job site. No job too small.
